Personal Brand Logo

I designed this logo with two concepts in mind: simplicity and authenticity. I made the decision to eliminate the use of icon style images in the logo because I wanted to keep the focus on my brand. Throughout layout strategy, I was able to incorporate my name and initials in such a way that emulates the look of smiley face.

Online Community News Publication Logo

In addition to creating the WordPress site for Heard It Here, I was also able to create the professional logo for the publication. The goal of this logo was to incorporate the school colors of Wake Forest University while also reiterating the brand name.

Piedmont Park Proposal Poster

I created this poster to provide a graphic overview of an urban design concept for Winston-Salem. Read the entire proposal paper here!

Visual Thinking with Squares

With only four black squares on a white 6” by 6” square ground, create and refine compositions that communicate the following concepts and how they relate to your personal experience of or relationship with the concept. For this challenge, compositions must be asymmetric in some way. Create compositions in Photoshop as layered PSDs and flattened PNGs. Place the flattened file into a Google Slides Personal Portfolio. In the Notes sections, write statements describing your concept and how your decisions about form communicate that concept. Concepts are order, chaos, tension, and cooperation.

Typography Project

Think of several adjectives that describe you or characteristics that relate to you and create three different experimental compositions that express this characteristic using the letters as shapes from “Your Name.”
